Finally, the DVDs are done!

I'm not pulling your leash. I'm sitting her holding one in my hand, still warm from the presses. In a matter of days, we'll have the order page up for all those who want one for their very own. This is the very first "Volume 1", 2-DVD set. It has all the episodes in full resolution in all their glory.

We've got the 1st draft of the script done for the next six episodes and are jonzing to get back into the Venice saddle again, so the sooner you buy one of these suckers, the sooner you'll get to see where these stories are headed.

We may even have a few "choice scenes" from the next batch posted online in the near future just to wet your whistle. We'll see how things go, so join the mailing list if you know what's good for you!

Okay, I'm done, but not for long.

We're just about done with doing up the DVD. Of course, we're past due, but what can you do? The plan is to have it up on the site soon to start taking pre-orders. This sucker is chock full of good stuff, especially, that nifty binaural 'sound scape' goodness we have on Disc 2. Pop in the DVD, throw on a couple of headphones and take a stroll down the Venice Beach boardwalk. Nice.

Okay, I'm on the blog bandwagon. I figured it was long overdue that I start putting up whatever Strand related ramblings I may have since I've had more than a few people contact me via the forum to ask about what's going with the show.

Well, everything's going on with the show. As of November, we'll have the next four webisodes up and running, available for download via our friends at BitPass. They're launching a "Digital Marketplace" on the NineMSN portal in Australia and will be featuring The Strand as one their premium content offerings. Very cool. Hopefully, we'll get a ton of Aussie eyes from this portal and expand the Strand vibe "down under". This doesn't mean those of you who aren't in the outback can't download the shows, it just means NineMSN is a portal that's featuring us with potentially a ton of traffic. You'll have the same access to the Bitpass landing page as anyone else and we'll be sure to have a link to it on the Strand main site when BitPass and NineMSN are ready to go. Stay tuned.

I did want to say thanks to all of you that have stuck it out with us for so long. Your encouraging words have been HUGE factor in motivating us to keep forging ahead despite a ton of naysayers out there. It's funny. 18 months ago when I was talking about doing a "webisodic" show, most people thought I was nuts, (which is not entirely untrue), but I have no doubt in my mind that we are on the cusp of a revolution. It's the wild west now when it comes to entertainment content on the web and those that are unable to adapt, stake their own claim or simply find a posse to join will be left in the dust.

Yee haw!!!!
